These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the website semc.in and to the services offered by Sanjivni Eye And Medicare Centre (“SEMC”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including the paid Tele-Consultation / Second Opinion service. By using this website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

Consultations are provided by Dr. Vivek Arya, MBBS, DNB (Ophthalmology), DO, FICO, FCRS; Consultant Cornea, Cataract & Phaco-Refractive Surgeon.
3. Use of this website
- Information on this website is for general awareness only. It is not medical advice and does not replace an examination by a doctor.
- You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, or upload unlawful or harmful content.
- Website content belongs to SEMC and may not be copied for commercial use without written permission.
4. Tele-Consultation service
- Tele-Consultation is delivered by audio/video call (WhatsApp) in line with India’s Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020.
- It is advisory in nature and is not a substitute for an in-person eye examination. The doctor may advise you to visit in person or have tests done.
- Tele-Consultation is not for emergencies. For sudden loss of vision, eye injury, chemical splash, severe pain or any emergency, go to the nearest emergency facility immediately.
- Prescriptions are issued only where permitted under the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020 and applicable law, and at the doctor’s professional discretion.
- No specific outcome, diagnosis or result is promised. Medical advice depends on the information shared and the limits of remote assessment.

5. Patient responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information, including your name, age, contact details, symptoms, medical history, current medicines and past reports.
- Share clear eye photos and reports as requested before the call.
- Patients below 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during the consultation, and the guardian must make the booking.
- Be available at the scheduled time on the phone number shared.
6. Fees and payment
- Fee: ₹500 (patients in India) or USD 35 (international patients), payable in advance.
- India: UPI / QR code. International: Razorpay payment link.
- Fees are final and include all applicable charges. No GST is charged. International payments may attract bank or currency conversion charges from your bank, which SEMC does not control.
- Fees may be revised; the fee shown at the time of payment applies.
7. Cancellation, refunds and delivery

- Your personal and health information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
- To the extent permitted by law, SEMC is not liable for any loss arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the patient, poor network or call quality, delays by third-party platforms (such as WhatsApp, UPI apps or Razorpay), or reliance on general website content.
- SEMC’s total liability for any paid service is limited to the fee paid for that service.
10. Third-party services
- Calls use WhatsApp and payments are processed by Razorpay or your UPI app. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services.
11. Changes to these Terms
- We may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ambala, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
